on rainy days, on sunny days [closed]
“S, Shut up! That sounds nothing like I do, you idiot…!” Though, she remembered the Third Game well, despite that having been a trick of sorts. However, Beato had no intention of reviving that memory on this day. “… A poor impression. You continued to lack what acting skills I do.”
It had taken a bit longer for Beato to get ready, of course. However, as she thought, it nice to wear something other than that dress for now. Her cane had disappeared for now, in favor of what Battler had just called her for. Raising an eyebrow, her mouth twitches a bit.
“…. Did you not promise that the next time you would hold me in your arms, you would catch me…? Perhaps you’ve yet to come to Kinzo’s level, after all…!”
Despite that, she does brace herself for a moment or so, before leaping downwards. She wasn’t one to hesitate when it came to dangerous situations, and she trusted him to catch her.

“ My acting skills are better than most! Ihihi, you never know, maybe one of these days I’ll winwinwin one of those fancy acting awards! “
She could never deny that he always put on a good show, even if it was a display of general idiocy that made him so entertaining to start. It was undeniable that he held a unique energy that brought life to any scene and situation in spite of his particularly goofy personality. If either of them deserved an award for best actor, it was definitely Battler and not his witch of a wife!
Tapping his foot, the redhead glanced around anxiously. Battler felt cheated out of a good sleep and it definitely showed in his expression; he was mulling over any and all potential plans for making their outing interesting, but none were as interesting and easy as his idea to introduce the meta world to Arcadios. A small part of him was eager to see how invoking that plane of existence was going to look.
Wordlessly, he held his tongue and waited for her to jump into his arms below. He kept his comment under wraps until she landed in his grasp, and with a dismissive grin, he kept her held in his arms long enough to insert a quip of his own.

“ Don’t compare me to that old geezer. We’re on completely different levels, damn it! “
